After our first snowfall, I realized that the scarf I was knitting for my baby was not going to be finished in time. So, I went and bought her a scarf, toque and mitts, and tried to forget my attempts at a scarf.
Today, I was looking through some things and what did I find, but the long lost unfinished scarf. I decided I could at least finish the project... even though I wasn't really liking the outcome (don't you just hate it when all you can see are the mistakes?!)
Originally my ambition was to knit mittens and a toque as well... but seeing as how this is my first attempt at knitting... I think I'll just stick with the scarf. There's a lot of mistakes... believe me I know... but it's not bad for a first scarf... right?

ReplyDelete(sigh) i have SO many unfinished projects...but i can't stop starting others! I need to make a list and check them off maybe. Anyways, the scarf is very cute :) good knitting Danae!
